             रुख्सार

ज़ीनत ने रुख्सार से पूछा  -
आज परवाने का ख़त ना आया
सुनते ही ये, रुख्सार का दिल कप कपाया
रुख्सार दौड़कर खिड़की के पास गयी
और परवाने की राह तकने लगी

चाँद की रौशनी में, नीले आकाश में,
तारे चहक रहे थे
ज़मीं के सन्नाटे में, वह चहककर
रुख्सार से यह कह रहे थे -
परवाने का भरोसा ना करना रुख्सार
परवाना तुम्हारे प्यार के काबिल नहीं
परवाना आशिक नहीं -
परवाना तो बस एक भँवरा है
जिसे प्यार आधा ही पता हैं

रुख्सार की बढती बेचैनी देखकर
ज़ीनत मुस्कुराई
कहा उसने -
नज़र आता है प्यार प्रेमी के आँखों में
सच्चा रूह में समां जाता है
झूठा -
जिस्म पर घिनोनी खुशबू
बनकर रह जाता है
परवाना सच्चा है या झूठा
यह तो वक़्त ही बताएगा

Silence, Silence

my friend keeps a sweet silence

in this silence, i talk to her

in this silence, i smile

in this silence, is something hidden

in this silence, i hope she frequently smiles

this silence is like a crashing wave
this silence travels from far away space
this silence speak many things to me
and this silence surely needs to break free
this silence i know will attain a permanent pause
in this silence beneath echoes a voice that once was!

know, this silence will end in a smashing song
yeah, this silence will again be soon gone
this silence will bring in a new good path
with this silence, i wish for her and me
a novel great start!

for the moments conceived,
My soul wanders for the moments,
for my mind to be at bliss

प्यासी प्यासी प्रीत की लहेरे

गुन गुनाते भवरे 

मुझे कलम चूमने दो 

इस मखमली सागर के बीच 

नर्मदिल कश्ती से मुझे 

साहिल चूमने दो 

यह शाम के इस गुलाबी रंग में 

समां जाने को मन कर रहा हैं  

तुम्हारे इस गुलाबी रंग में 

फ़ना हो जाने को मेरा 

दिल कर रहा हैं
