             मुसाफिर

मन के इस समंदर में डूबने को
मैं तैयार हूँ
मन की इस काली रात में खोजाने को
मैं तैयार हूँ

सोजाऊ  इन  बदलो पर
हो जाउ सवार इन लहरों पर

एक अनंत काल के मुसाफिर की तरह
इस मन में, सफ़र करने के लिए
मैं तैयार हूँ

Yeh Kaisa Darr ? (hindi)

     यह कैसा डर ?

यह कैसा डर ?
भीड़ में गूम हो जाने का डर
राह में अकेला पड़ जाने का डर
कोई एक गलती हो जाने का डर

या  
कभी कोई रूठ जाने का डर  
खुद पर से यकी छूठ जाने का डर?!
क्यों? क्यों है यह डर ?!

दिन ढल जाने के बाद
शाम रुक जाने के बाद
रात की काली परछाई जैसा
कभी चुपके से दिल में आ जाता है यह डर

आकर इन नन्ही धड्कनोको बढ़ाता
रह रहकर इस दिल को तड़पाता
बेचारा दिल यह सह जाता
कितना कुछ कर जाता यह डर

दिल को क्या समझाए ?
तुम धड़कना छोड़ दो ?
मन की इस पीड़ा के आगे
शर्मसार होकर घुटने टेक दो ?
चेहरे पर आंसू लाकर वहीँ उन्हें सुक जाने दो?

माना यह जंग इतनी आसान नहीं
डर के आगे बेबस हो जाए इसलिए इंसान नहीं
यह डर तो बस मन का एक वहम है
हमसे छल करना ही इसका करम है
दिल में एक मशाल तुम जलाओ
यकीं खुद पर, भरोसा अपनों पर लाओ

डर को ना लाओ ज़िन्दगी में फिर कभी तुम
मन के आज़ादी की शायद है यही धुन

This was written couple of months back. Haven't posted it here at that time. Don't remember whether I gave any title to this one but will give a nice and sweet one. Here go the lines (in hindi)...

Please embrace me,
Cuddle me in your cozy arms
I want to sleep soundly
Have been running for Life
to a destination unknown
Don't know where I'm heading

A Short Goodbye!

In this endless maroon night
Just want the things to be right

Suddenly, my smile seems to fade
And an emptiness inside me is being made

Is this an illusion of separation from you?
In a short while, I'm missing you?!

I know, we'll meet again in that Golden Rye
But poisonous, was your smiling short Good bye!

 

The desert song

in the heat and in the brightness

you come to me

to seek the evidence

of your dreams waitin to be free

take the sand in your hand

and throw it in the air

you'll get the chance to see

don't ask for the oasis

it is just an excuse

come upto the sun

to unleash the real you

the saffron is what you like

but it is the beginning of your pain
